My name is Jennifer Potter, Integrative Counsellor and Specialist Public Health Community Nurse and I invite you to the explore the possibility of...

Peace of Mind.

My core values pledged to you are:

  1. Harmonious - Let’s unravel the answers together without judgement.
  2. Realistic - This is your place to talk, cry, think and explore issues from a different view with an empathetic advocate that will respect you, your life`s journey and your opinion.
  3. Invested - A safe, person centred, holistic, protected, calm environment where we persevere to peel away the layers of life one step at a time for as long as you need.

Some people find talking to an independent professional easier then talking to a friend or relative.

My AIM is to help you find "Peace of Mind".

My belief in the power of connection and compassion has enabled me to develop strong personal skills as an advocate, listener, mentor, advisor, empath and counsellor.

I offer you time with me and aim to help you find Peace of Mind.

My offer to you:

My counselling services support neurodivergent individuals and adults. I also offer specialised Parent/Child sessions where parents with children under 2 can also attend, designed to help you navigate your parental journey in a supportive environment.

I understand that our past experiences, particularly those involving change and trauma, can significantly impact the relationship with ourselves and the world around us.

My approach is to provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges. Whether you're seeking support to overcome past trauma, improve your relationships, or simply navigate life's challenges, I'm here to help you find peace of mind.

Training & Experience:

Spanning over 20 years' experience working in the NHS as an adult general nurse supporting the community from birth to the final chapter and everything in between. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including community care, hospice care, public health which includes pregnancy and parenting emotional exploration to gain a better understanding of yourself.

Understanding the complexities of family dynamics, I offer therapeutic counselling for individuals and parents, with a focus on creating inclusive sessions where children under 2 can attend.

With extensive experience supporting neurodiverse clients seeking self-understanding, and having completed the Oliver McGowan training, I am deeply committed to neurodiversity-affirming practice. I provide a compassionate space for self-acceptance, guiding you through your journey with empathy and understanding.
